ZOLA AMOUR

Because it’s Cool

Zola Amour have created a capsule collection of stylish, well-made wardrobe staples; from the simple black t-shirt that kicked off the Zola Amour brand to the more recent sculptural designs of fleece ponchos.

By focusing on perfecting the key staples that nearly every modern woman wears, founder Emily is refining the smart-causal uniform.

The inter-changing collection means you can dress up or dress down any look. Soft bamboo shirts create a feminine drape at the cuff and a rounded collar adds to the softness. Couple with a relaxed cotton jumpsuit and looking professional will never have felt so comfortable.

Because it Matters

Zola Amour say: “from origin to final stitch, we create each garment using beautiful, quality fabrics that are sustainable and only work with suppliers who share our standards”.

They use in-house manufacturing so can trace each organic cotton fibre back to the farmer.

Working with the British company Discovery Knitting, they ensure all organic cotton is GOTS certified from a family in India. This means the cotton crops haven’t come in to contact with harmful pesticides or fertilisers.

The raw cotton is then spun in Italy to create the yarn which is then dyed and knitted at the Discovery Knitting mill in Leicester, UK.

They also use OEKO-TEX certified bamboo from China, which is also grown without the use of harmful substances. Once spun, bamboo can be a soft as silk and as hardwearing as cotton.

They can also trace Forbitex’s Scanfil sewing thread from where it’s spun in Italy to where the organic cotton is grown in Egypt. Again, the choice to work with GOTS certified cotton ensures that the growing and dyeing processes are conducted in the most environmentally-sound way.

Finally, Zola Amour have even put consideration into the zips they use. Sourcing from Japanese company YKK, all zips used are made from recycled plastic bottles.

They also source recycled cardboard and tissue paper for their packaging.
