These ethical homeware brands are unique, chic and conscious – making it easier to have a sustainable, stylish home

This is a new – and growing – section on BICBIM, so please
do get in touch to share your suggestions of brands and info you would like to see here.

Making your home more sustainable can feel like a mammoth task, but we’ve found some brilliant brands that are going the extra mile to create beautiful products that look good and do good.

We believe that you can fill your home with furniture that is beautiful and functional, but also stand up to rigorous social and environmental credentials.

We want it to be easy for you to make your more sustainable, so we’ve tracked down the brands we know are doing their bit – and making seriously good-looking products, too.

This can range from handcrafted furniture made out of responsibly sourced wood to super-soft organic cotton bedsheets.

Of course, there are smaller choices you can also make, whether that’s buying cleaning products that are tough on dirt but kind to the planet (we quite like Delphis) or choosing a toilet paper producer that uses some of its profits to build toilets in developing countries (have you heard of Who Gives a Crap?).

More often than not, using sustainable cleaning products is the best choice for you as well as the planet, because many cleaning agents contain harsh chemicals that are bad for your health in the long-term.
